Gray Cook, a practicing physical therapist, has spent his entire career refining and developing functional evaluation exercise techniques. He has taken the Functional Movement Screen and his advanced assessment practices and combined them with reactive-based exercises that enhance motor learning. These two components are the pillars of the Reebok Core Training System.

Gray's ability to teach at many different professional levels is the result of his diverse background. He is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist with the American Physical Therapy Association. Gray is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a Level I coach with the U. S. Weight Lifting Federation. He combines his clinical skills with over seven years of professional teaching and lecturing experience.

Gray has lectured nationally and internationally in the fields of physical therapy, sports medicine and performance enhancement. He has served as a consultant to numerous universities and professional sports teams in all four major sports. His is author of the new book Athletic Body in Balance which serves as a working example of the unique way Cook looks at assessment, movement, and exercise. He is also the author of numerous text book chapters and articles related to these topics as well.

Gray's consulting is not limited to rehabilitation and sports medicine. He is equally sought after for his advice on conditioning and performance enhancement. Gray currently practices physical therapy in Southwest Virginia and continues to publish and present topics related to rehabilitation and exercise. Behnad Honarbakhsh is a practicing physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach having worked at several sports therapy clinics in British Columbia, Canada, and the National Sports Institute in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was a program coordinator and consultant at the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) School of Human Kinetics as well as UBC's Varsity Athletics. Behnad continues to consult with various sport teams and individual athletes at all levels, including national and professional level athletes.

Behnad graduated from UBC with a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Exercise Science. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, has completed a graduate certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at Curtin University (Perth, Australia), certified through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and trained in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) through the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain. Behnad is currently pursuing training in the field of traditional Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy.

Behnad is passionate about teaching and continues to combine his diverse clinical skills and years of experience with lecturing in the fields of rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance enhancement. Behnad has a special interest in movement assessment and training and has been involved with the Functional Movement Screen system since 2001. He is an instructor for both the FMS and SFMA seminars.


 Kyle Kiesel PT, PhD, ATC, CSCS Kyle Kiesel
PT, PhD, ATC, CSCS

Dr. Kiesel is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Evansville. He conducts research related to core function and functional movement testing related to athletic performance and injury prediction. He also conducts research in the use of ultrasound imaging for patients with low back pain. He serves as a consultant for professional, college, and high school sports teams. He has extensive experience teaching lecture and lab courses emphasizing core training and functional movement assessment and intervention including both the FMS and the SFMA. He has authored several articles and a book chapter on these topics. He has 12 peer-reviewed publications and presented numerous abstracts and invited speaking engagements nationally and internationally. He serves as a manuscript reviewer for 6 different peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kiesel is engaged in patient care in orthopedics and sports at ProRehab in Evansville, Indiana where he serves as Director of Evidence-Based Practice.

Dr. Lehr currently holds an appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor at Lebanon Valley College's doctoral physical therapy program. His research interests and current projects include: clinical decision making in musculoskeletal management, and epidemiology of noncontact athletic injuries. In addition to an extensive orthopedic and sports medicine background, Mike has had experience providing physical therapy on the PGA and LPGA Tours. He also serves as a mentor and consultant to the orthopedic residency in Central Pennsylvania. He has presented his work nationally and has been published in the areas of orthopedics and strength and conditioning in peer-reviewed journals.

His past educational experiences/accomplishments includes the following:

 Dr. Phil Plisky

    Dr. Plisky is the Vice President of Clinical Excellence and the Residency Program Director at ProRehab, PC and Assistant Professor at the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN. He specializes in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, with emphasis on injury prevention in athletes. He received his Master of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Evansville and his Doctor of Science Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedics through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

    Dr. Plisky has published and lectured internationally on risk factors for injury in athletes and is an adjunct faculty member at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He currently is conducting epidemiological research on comprehensive movement testing and interventions in athletes and school aged children. Dr. Plisky is a consultant for numerous collegiate and professional teams for injury risk identification and injury prevention. Dr. Plisky has also developed the Y Balance Test - a reliable and efficient device and protocol to measure performance on the Star Excursion Balance Test.


    Dr. Greg Rose Dr. Greg Rose

    Greg Rose is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic and holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland. Greg specializes in 3-D biomechanics, strength and conditioning, manual therapy, rehabilitation, nutritional supplementation and therapeutic exercises as they relate to golf.

    Over the past twelve years he has helped thousands of golfers, at all different skill levels, reach their peak performance through physical conditioning and nutritional support. His unique form of functional training combined with golf-specific motor learning drills has made him one of the top strength and conditioning coaches for golf in the United States.

    Greg is the co-host of the Golf Fitness Academy seen weekly on the Golf Channel and a co-founder of the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, California. Greg is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner and a Fellow in the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.

    His seminar series; The Body Swing Connection, has made him one of the most requested speakers in the field of golf biomechanics and video swing analysis for isolating physical limitations. Greg has lectured all over the world and has been featured in many golf and news publications. Utilizing his background in engineering combined with his expertise on the human body, Greg has helped pioneer the field of analyzing computerized 3-Dimensional motion capture models of the golf swing. This research has helped golf professionals all over the world get a better understanding of how the body works during the golf swing.


    Dr. Josh Satterlee Dr. Josh Satterlee

    Dr. Josh Satterlee of Bio- Mechanics of Las Vegas is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician and Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) Provider. He specializes in strength and conditioning, rehab, and functional movement and diagnoses. Dr. Satterlee has vast experience in resolving injuries and dysfunctions that occur in rotational athletes, especially golfers. As a Biomechanics major from Montana State University, Dr. Satterlee continues his education in functional movement with a certification in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (S.F.M.A.) and as a Titleist Performance Institute (T.P.I) Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.


    Dr. Michael Voight Dr. Michael Voight

    Dr. Michael Voight has had a distinguished career as both an educator and clinical physical therapist for over 25 years. Presently, Dr. Voight is a tenured professor with Belmont University's School of Physical Therapy in Nashville, TN. In addition to working in academia, Dr. Voight also is recognized as a clinician of the highest caliber, and has worked with a number of high-profile athletic organizations. Throughout his career, Dr. Voight has consulted with various teams in MLB, NHL, and the MLS. Early in his career he became active within the United States Olympic Committee's Sports medicine Division. He has worked at the Olympic Training Center, Olympic Festivals, Pan Am Games, Olympic Games, and has had the opportunity to travel to almost all of the different continents with various Olympic and national teams. Most recently, Dr. Voight has worked with the Medical Commission for FIFA (the International governing body for soccer) and the Professional Golf Association His role with the advisory board of the Titleist Performance Institute allows him to consult on the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of golf injuries with many noted golf professionals.
